Frequently asked questions
Does this fetch my live page?
No. It builds the preview from what you type. Fetching arbitrary URLs on request would be a server-side request forgery risk, so it is deliberately not offered.
What image size should I use?
1200 by 630 pixels is the safe standard. It fills the large card on every major platform without cropping.
Why has my updated image not appeared?
Platforms cache aggressively. Use the sharing debugger for the platform in question to force a re-scrape.
