Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of this website, including its articles, tutorials, code snippets and developer tools. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
This site is operated by Logics Guru, a sole trader registered in Pakistan. "We", "us" and "our" below mean Logics Guru.
The tools#
Almost every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your input is processed on your own device and is never transmitted to us, stored by us, or logged. Each tool page states plainly which of the two it is, and any tool that keeps something says so on its own page.
The exception is the URL shortener. A short link only works because a server can look the destination up again later, so the URL you submit is stored. Nothing else about you is.
The tools are provided for convenience. You are responsible for checking their output before relying on it, particularly where the result affects production systems, financial calculations, security decisions, or anything else where being wrong carries a cost.
Acceptable use#
You may not use this site to:
- break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any connected system
- interfere with the site's operation, including by automated scraping at a rate that degrades it for others
- create short links to malware, phishing pages, or content that is unlawful
- redistribute the tools or content as your own product
We may withdraw access, disable a short link, or remove content at any time where we believe these terms have been broken. We do not have to give notice or a reason.
Usage limits#
Some tools limit how many times one visitor may run them in a given period. This exists to keep the site available to everyone and is not a promise of any particular level of access. Limits may change without notice.
Your content#
Anything you send us — through the contact form, a problem report, or an enquiry — you confirm is yours to send and does not infringe anyone's rights. You give us permission to store it and act on it for the purpose you sent it. We will not publish it without asking you first.
Please do not send confidential information, credentials, or personal data belonging to other people through these forms.
Our content#
The articles, tutorials, guides and design of this site belong to Logics Guru and are protected by copyright. You may read them, link to them, and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not republish them in full, or use them to train a model, without written permission.
Code snippets are different. Any code published on this site may be used freely in your own projects, commercial or otherwise, with no attribution required and no warranty of any kind. That is what they are for.
Links to other sites#
Where this site links elsewhere, that is for your convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
Availability#
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee it. It may be unavailable for maintenance, or because something has broken. We may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of it — including any individual tool — at any time.
Warranties and liability#
The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or accuracy.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything published here — including lost profits, lost data, downtime, corrupted files, or security incidents — whether or not we were told such loss was possible.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy#
How we handle data is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes#
We may update these terms. The version published here is the one that applies, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
Governing law#
These terms are governed by the law of Pakistan, and the courts of Pakistan have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
